My husband always likes the fish, but I like the variety. This time I had the country fried steak with white gravy. It was very good. I've also had their beef tips which were excellent. 6 months later, still delicious!

I really like the fried catfish and sweet potato fries. We have made it a family tradition to eat here every Ash Wednesday. We always seem to come only 30 min before they are to close, but they are still friendly and welcoming.

Everyone at our table had a Delicious dinner. Catfish, Sirloin tips, white fish all good and big portions

I didn't care for the whole catfish. I'm assuming from the taste it was pond fish.

Fish cooked perfect, Crust was proper as they used a light breading. Paw Paws near Red Level was closed. This is our first/second place we go to this place for catfish on out trips. I highly recommend this place.

Very disappointed. We wanted to place our order on phone and pick it up. I called 4 times and phone just rang and rang and then someone would pick it up and just hang up. I checked hours and according to the hours posted there was still 4 1/2 hours before closing. I understand being busy but to not speak or answer at all is uncalled for. So from now on my family and I will just go to Davids.

Excellent service and the food is well prepared.The fact that they actually do have hot tea is a bonus (I love hot tea with my meal).Grilled chicken was moist, well seasoned and mashed potatoes with delicious gravy topped off the meal.

Dinner was great as always! Nobody does catfish like Wayne's!! Service was quick and friendly .

Excellent food and service. Restaurant is back under original ownership and management after being sold to another owner that tried to cut costs and corners. Great local eatery with large portions, great prices and food quality. Definitely worth checking out.

We have never been disappointed. We have never had a complaint with our food since Wayne's Catfish House was turned back over to the original owner. The servers are super friendly and never gets our order wrong.

Seafood was really good. Looks like a hole in the wall, at first, but everyone enjoyed the food.

Absolutely the best place to eat in Crestview. I am a huge fan as I have yet to receive a bad meal or had bad services since I have been coming here. We have visited Wayne's at least 20 times so far and will be back dozens of times I'm sure! Thanks for the wonder food and service. PS Best Chicken Wings Around!

Catfish was good. I dropped it one star since both catfish dinners were over cooked so part of the fillets were very crunchy. The salad bar was very fresh and had a lot of variety. The ranch dressing was delicious. I would go back for the salad bar. The cheese grits were creamy and very good.

Just had the surf n turf with 8 oz sirloin, it was delicious!! It would be awesome if they would add sirloin to their menu though...

New management so still getting the hang of things. But really friendly staff.

Had a large group and we all had different orders and paid separately. But the waitress was in it. She paid attention and got the food out in an orderly manner and good timing. Something for everyone weather seafood or not.

The best local restaurant in Crestview! I always leaves unbelievably stuffed with more in my take-out box. The catfish here is friend to perfection and the sweet potatoe fries are delicious! They also have friend mullet sometimes which is the best I’ve ever had! Oh and they have a great salad bar! Always clean and VERY friendly staff.

This place was even worse than David's catfish and I thought that would be hard to do. After my plate was brought to me, I just wanted to get up and go elsewhere. Mushy catfish and the okra was greasy and slimy. If you want really good catfish, don't eat at Wayne's...the sides pretty much sucked as well.

The edible materials were really REALLY fantastic. Like nothing this universe has seen. The people of this world are lacking happiness that they could get from here. I don't understand why people would ever dislike this magnificent place. I 100% say that others should go here, as the customer service people (or waiters as people like to call them) smell very good.

First sit down restaurant open for dine in, since the pandemic started. Great food, very friendly people. Totally recommend this place.

Was there just last night, ordered blackened whitefish and salad. Fish was good, side salad was fresh but "plain" ... Wayne's is under new ownership and there will be changes, hopefully good upgrades. I'll continue to support this hometown business

Overcooked catfish (fried) and shrimp (both grilled and fried), bland coleslaw, whitefish had vinegar taste...too hungry to send back--ate what we could. Not sure what the great reviews are about--I was not impressed. I was with people who has been here before; this was there first time back since remodel and they were disappointed.

One of our favorite places in Crestview. Catfish is always fresh and cooked just right. Portions are generous, and prices are extremely reasonable. Plenty of choices other than catfish, something for everyone. Friendly service and great hours.

The food is always good, but all four of us got the lunch special which was $8.99. When she brought our check, it was over $67. Watch your totals, especially when you order the special. We've had that happen before.

Best down home southern cooking in Crestview! Whether you dine in or order out you're sure to get a heaping helping of southern hospitality. The burgers are great but so are the catfish and shrimp plates. If you have family members who are picky eaters; this place has the variety to satisfy everyone. Wayne's Catfish House is truly a hidden jem among the countless fast-food restaurants littered through our city. It is a favorite of our family and is definitely worth trying!
